This policy sets out what may not be uploaded to, or done with, deamoz. It applies to everyone with an account and to anyone using the player, and it is part of our Terms of Service.
In short
- Only upload videos you have the right to share.
- Nothing illegal, abusive, sexually explicit or exploitative — and never anything that sexualises children.
- Don't attack deamoz, overload it or try to get around its protections.
- Report a video that breaks these rules with its Report button.
1.Videos you may not upload or share
- Anything that sexualises children. We remove it, close the account and report it to the authorities. There are no exceptions.
- Sexual or intimate images of anyone without their consent, including fakes made to look like a real person.
- Sexually explicit material.
- Videos that infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights — including material you bought or downloaded without the right to share it.
- Videos that promote terrorism or violent extremism, or encourage violence.
- Harassment, threats or bullying, and videos that attack people for who they are, such as their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
- Other people’s private information, shared without their consent.
- Malware, phishing, scams or fraud, or pretending to be someone you are not.
- Anything else that is illegal where you or your viewers are.
2.Things you may not do
- Get around deamoz’s protections: extracting keys, decrypting streams outside our player and its Download button, reusing or sharing playback tokens, or removing the player’s branding other than in your settings — or help anyone else do so.
- Download, scrape or re-host videos that are not yours — except with a Download button their owner offers, which gives you a copy, not the right to share it on.
- Probe, scan or test the security of deamoz without our written permission; attack, flood or overload it; or interfere with other customers.
- Use deamoz as general file storage, or as a delivery network for anything but your videos.
- Open several accounts to get more than one free trial, or give false details about who you are.
- Resell or sublicense deamoz without an agreement with us.
- Send spam that links to videos on deamoz.
3.You and your viewers
You decide who can watch your videos — through their privacy, passwords, the playlists you share and the sites they may be embedded on — and whether viewers may download them. You are responsible for sharing them lawfully, including with any audience the law protects, such as children.
4.Reporting a video
If you see a video on deamoz that breaks this policy, report it: Report is under the video, on its page and in playlists, and in the player’s settings when it is embedded. Choose what is wrong, tell us what we should know and leave your email address: we confirm your report with a reference, and reply by email when we have looked into it. Reports about the safety of children are dealt with first.
For anything else, write to us from the contact page.
5.Copyright complaints
If you believe a video on deamoz infringes your copyright, report it and choose Copyright — or, for several videos at once, write to us from the contact page. Include:
- your name and how to contact you;
- the work you believe is infringed;
- the link to each video concerned;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised, and that your complaint is accurate and that you are the owner or may act for them;
- your signature — a typed full name is enough.
We may take the video offline and tell its owner, who can reply with a counter-notice. Accounts that infringe again and again are closed.
6.What we do
When something breaks this policy, we may take videos offline, suspend or close the account, keep the information needed for an investigation, and report illegal content to the authorities. Where we reasonably can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it; serious cases may be acted on without notice. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
7.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as deamoz and the law change. The date at the top shows when it last changed; significant changes are emailed to account holders before they take effect.
